The First Move

For the world to change, we each need to make the first move...


It all started with a simple phrase “May All Beings Be Happy Beginning With You”

At first, it was just going to be about t-shirts as a way of spreading more joy, peace and happiness and giving some money back to the world. It’s grown into a vision of building a worldwide community of people committed to developing their kindness and generosity of spirit as an antidote to negativity.

When you wear (or give) one of our shirts, it's about more than just a piece of clothing.  It's about

  • Sharing a genuine wish for happiness with everyone who crosses your path

  • Identifying yourself as part of the global community of peace warriors who know that world peace begins with individual peace, using the tools of compassion, kindness and generosity.

  • Supporting organizations working to make the world a better place. (We contribute at least $2.00 for each product purchased.)

Giving Back

We believe business can do a lot of good, by caring for both the future and others.

We do this 2 ways:  with our products and by supporting organizations helping make the world better for others.

We believe in the basic goodness and inner wisdom in each and every person on this planet.  The messages on our products are reminders of this basic truth.

We believe that giving back is an important part of caring for the future and others.  And we believe in ‘fixing’ things from the bottom up, rather than the top down.  This means getting money, goods and services directly to the people using them.  Those who know what’s needed in their communities.

Our donations support 4 organizations that believe people know how to take care of themselves and sometimes circumstances get in the way.  These organizations help people through those circumstances, so they can come out on the other side.

Each quarter, we donate at least $2.00 for each item we sell, and share it with these groups.  That’s before taxes, before profit.  Even before paying ourselves!

The Berkana Institute  "Whatever the problem, community is the answer."  This value is at the heart of Berkana's mission .  Co-founded by Meg Wheatley in 1992, Berkana works with people all over the world to develop leadership based on the wisdom and wealth already present in people, their traditions and the environment in which they live.  Their tools?  Conversation and collaboration.


Naturopaths InternationalNaturopaths International  Dr. Brandie Gowey has a big vision.  Create a network of naturopathic clinics across the United States and the planet, with the mission of healing the emotional traumas caused by violence of all kinds.  It's a great first move, and we're proud to be a partner at the ground level of such an inspired undertaking.

Grameen LogoGrameen Foundation  Micro loans make a huge difference between poverty, earning a living and making a contribution.  Grameen Foundation has won a Nobel Peace prize for their work, and they are making a difference in the lives of many.  Their work allows for creativity and sustainability to flourish.


Medecins Sans FrontieresMedecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders)  Independent humanitarianism at its best.  MSF delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict and natural or man-made disasters.  They work side by side with local people to provide medical care where non is available. True compassion in action.
