Cultivating kindness & generosity one person, one t-shirt at a time!

It all started with a simple phrase “May All Beings Be Happy Beginning With You”

At first, it was just going to be about t-shirts as a way of spreading more joy, peace and happiness and giving some money back to the world. It’s grown into a vision of building a worldwide community of people committed to developing their kindness and generosity of spirit as an antidote to negativity.

When you wear (or give) one of our shirts, it's about more than just a piece of clothing.  It's about

• Sharing a genuine wish for happiness with everyone who crosses your path

• Identifying yourself as part of the global community cultivating kindness and generosity

• Supporting organizations working to make the world a better place. (We contribute $2.00 for each shirt purchased.)

Who we support

It's difficult to be concerned with enlightenment when your survival needs are not being met.  (A very rough paraphrase of Maslow's hierarchy of needs!)

And sometimes deciding "where the money goes" in today's world presents a challenge.  There are so many worthy organizations and options.  We looked for groups that support others in becoming self-sufficient and self-sustaining.  At the same time, we recognized that sometimes the situation is so dire, it requires outside care and support.  We feel honored and blessed to contribute to the following non-profit organziations.

Heifer International  Generating income through livestock and farming has been a human tradition for centuries.  Heifer helps families continue this honorable way of life.  (And it's a great gift idea when you make the transition from giving "stuff" as presents !) 

Habitat for Humanity  A home of one's own, a safe place to live is a basic, human need.  Habitat works around the globe helping people realize this dream for themselves.

Grameen Foundation  Micro loans make a huge difference between poverty, earning a living and making a contribution.  Grameen Foundation has won a Nobel Peace prize for their work, and they are making a difference in the lives of many.  Their work allows for creativity and sustainability to flourish.

Medecins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders)  Independent humanitarianism at its best.  MSF delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict and natural or man-made disasters.  They work side by side with local people to provide medical care where non is available. True compassion in action.
